Meet Ben
Ben Durham is your neighbour in Ward 3 who was born in Ottawa, raised in London, and has worked in Edmonton and Toronto.
Since 2020, he’s been living in Huron Heights, where he runs a video production company that he started in 2016.
Prior to settling on communications and marketing as a career, Ben laid fibre-optic cable, hung out of bush planes as a professional aerial photographer, worked in the Albertan oil fields, drove transport trailers, and even filmed documentaries in Malawi, Africa, and across Canada. He’s also worked in the banking industry, retail stores, restaurants, and nonprofits. So he’s got a fair amount of experience, to say the least.
He’s heavily involved in several communities in London, and you can find him on boards, like the Old North East Neighbourhood Association.
He was a former board member on London Cycle Link’s board and is also a community advocacy award winner.
Now Ben is running for City Council to bring that same work ethic to City Hall. He’ll fight for Ward 3’s families, seniors, newcomers, renters, students, homeowners, and small businesses.
